This is in an old church where instead of paying tithing men would buy a prayer bench (section) and the money they paid to use it (rent) was in essence their tithing. There was pillow and books, the Bible (in my hands) and a hymn book. There are also old feet warmers. You would put coal in a black metal box (like a mini stove) to dry off your wet feet or keep them warm.
